Like you, we love a chance to show off our creative sides–especially when there’s a huge prize on the line (hellooo, $500 cash and $500 in Boy Meets Girl styles). So even though the Lockerz crew isn’t eligible to win our Valentine’s Day Dream Date Contest, we figured we’d show y’all what gets our hearts thumping.

Anthony's Dream Date
We’d expect nothing less than a collection of serious V-Day eye candy from our Creative Director, Anthony. He grabbed Decalz showing design and fashion inspiration for his date, plus romantic quips, a whole lotta hearts and, while Anthony was probably more interested in the car, John Hamm (swoon) in a little red hot rod.

Jen's Dream Date
If she didn’t already declare it in a Decalz title, we’d have figured it out–Jen and her BF love snow. Their date takes them from skiing the slopes and snuggling in front of a fire to a night out worthy of a slinky lace dress and sequined platform pumps. Because snow can be hot.

Suzanne's Dream Date
Suzanne and her BF had their first official date at Dancing on the Valentine, an annual benefit cover show. Now it’s a V-Day tradition. This year, the bands are covering Duran Duran, so Suzanne’s using her Dream Date collection to prep for a night of dancing–after an intimate dinner at a neighborhood restaurant (HINT).

Win Our Dream Date Contest, Valentine!

To celebrate the pink-and-reddest day of the year, we’re giving away $500 cash and $500 in Boy Meets Girl styles to the one person who can send us head over heels with his or her Dream Date Decalz Collection.

Between now and 11:59 p.m. EST on February 2, create a Decalz Collection that tells a visual story of your perfect Valentine’s Day for two. Be creative, aspirational and original–we want to see your unique Dream Date vision!

What To Do:

  1. Grab Decalz off the Web or from Lockerz and add them to a new Collection titled, “Dream Date.”
  2. Collections should contain at least 10 Decalz that visually represent where you and your Valentine would go on your Dream Date and what you’d wear, eat, listen to, watch and get or give as gifts.
  3. You can create as many Dream Date Decalz Collections as you like, but only one will be eligible for prizes.
  4. Don’t forget to title your Decalz Collection “Dream Date”–only Collections with this title will be considered!

Meet Our Judge
Stacy Igel, tastemaker and fashion designer extraordinaire for Boy Meets Girl®, is our special guest judge! She’ll pick the grand prize winner and two runners up based on their collections’ originality, style, coolness and overall popularity (how many PTZ a collection earns during the contest).

1 Grand Prize Winner will receive $500 and $500 in Boy Meets Girl styles.
2 Runners Up will each receive $250 and $250 in Boy Meets Girl styles.
22 Stellar Contestants will get a 2500 PTZ gift card just for being awesome.

Plus, you’ll earn PTZ along the way when you grab Decalz and when other members grab them from you.

Go “Behind the Seams™ with Stacy Igel”

Meet fashion designer and stylist Stacy Igel in an original Lockerz production, “Behind the Seams™ with Stacy Igel.”

Each installment of the 8-episode series chronicles the Boy Meets Girl® designer’s days and nights–from directing her fashion shows and photo shoots to the nuts and bolts behind working in the fashion industry.

“I hope it inspires people to have fun, work hard, live their dream, and express their own personal style every day,” says Stacy.

So where’s this style trendsetter taken us so far?

In episode one, we watched Stacy rock her New York Fashion Week presentation of the spring/summer 2012 Boy Meets Girl collection. Episode two caught Stacy fresh off of her NYFW success with an in-store fashion show at Campus Candy starring Penn State University co-eds. To continue her sweet streak, in episode three, Stacy tours the Smarties® candy factory and gives DIY lessons in “smartdazzling” Boy Meets Girl items with candy.
